Gina Jodat MA, LAC *Surprise & Online

Life can be overwhelming, whether you're carrying the weight of past trauma, navigating grief, struggling with anxiety or OCD, facing a life-changing diagnosis, or feeling disconnected in your relationships. You don't have to face these challenges alone. My goal is to provide a compassionate, judgment-free space where healing, growth, and lasting change are possible.

I am Gina, a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I will be fully EMDR trained by the end of July 2026 and have received specialized training in the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, allowing me to provide evidence-based, trauma-informed care for individuals, couples, and families.

I specialize in helping clients work through trauma, grief and loss, terminal and chronic illness adjustment, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, relationship conflict, parenting challenges, and major life transitions. Whether you are processing painful experiences, strengthening your marriage, navigating family dynamics, or simply feeling stuck, I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs and goals.

With more than 22 years of service as a first responder and as the spouse of a first responder I also have a special passion for serving first responders, healthcare professionals, military members, veterans, and their families. I understand the unique emotional demands these professions place on individuals and relationships and offer culturally informed care for those communities while welcoming clients from all walks of life.

I believe therapy is a collaborative partnership built on trust, authenticity, and hope. Together, we will work to uncover your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, improve communication, heal emotional wounds, and create meaningful, lasting change.

To make therapy more accessible, I offer early morning and weekend appointments for clients whose work, family, or personal commitments make traditional weekday scheduling difficult.

Healing doesn't mean forgetting the past it means learning how to move forward with strength, resilience, and hope. Wherever you are in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
